BOLLYWOOD film maker-turned Islamic scholar Murcyleen Peerzada was one of 15 prominent personalities who were honoured in the 1st International Contribution to Dawah Awards recently held in Dubai.
The ceremony to acknowledge prominent Islamic scholars was a private award show held recently at the Jumeirah Emirates Tower hotel and sponsored by the creators of iMurshid, the world’s largest Islamic smart phone application.
