2-day falconry championship to kick off on Friday

After the successful falconry events held in Dubai and Ajman, the falconers in Fujairah are set to host their championship to win cash rewards as well as play their part in conserving heritage.
In a press conference held on Sunday in Fujairah, the details of first-ever Maktoum Al Sharqi Falcon Championship were announced by the organising committee.
The first falconry championship in the Eastern Emirate of Fujairah will be organised and supervised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) and will be held on Feb. 23-24 at Fujairah Festival Grounds. The offer of Dhs460,000 cash rewards will be distributed among the top 10 players in each of the four events i.e. Pure Jeer Farkh, Jeer Shaheen Farkh, Qarmoosha Farkh and Jeer Tabaa Farkh.
