PJF hosts reception for visiting Pak journalists

RAPID penetrating of electronic gadgets in every walk of life has affected the print media as the vital place of newspapers have been taking over by the different mode of electronic media like television channels and social media platforms. Now the electronic media primarily TV channels are being effecting badly by the people misusing different social media platforms in the name of journalism.
This was stated by Khalid Qayyum, chief reporter Daily Express while addressing the gathering of a reception hosted by Pakistan Journalist Forum.
The PJF is a wing of Pakistan Association Dubai has recently hosted a reception in honour of visiting Pakistani journalists including, Amir Mehboob, chief editor Jammu-wa-Kashmir, Arshad Ansari, senior reporter Daily Jang and Khalid Qayyum, chief reporter Daily Express.
They urged professionals journalists working in different organizations in Pakistan as well as abroad should devise policy to bring social media professionals on board and use their expertise in proper way to benefit the masses need better journalistic work.
They also appreciated the role of overseas Pakistani journalists associated in different organizations to promote the country’s soft and true image in their respective fields.
The reception was attended by Ashiq Hussain Sheikh, press counselor in Pakistan Consulate in Dubai, Ashfaq Ahmed, President PJF, Hafiz Zahid, general secretary and member of executive body including Sibte Arif, Tahir Munir Tahir, Malik Amir, Jamil Khan, Shiraz Mughal, Manzoor Bhatti and others.
