Rashid Centre kids at IMG World

A GROUP of students with special needs from the Rashid Centre for Disabled has recently visited the IMG World, one of the largest indoor theme parks in Dubai.
The students who were accompanied with Maryam Othman, Director General of the Rashid Centre also spend a whole fun-day at the park.
During their stay at the theme park, the students had surprised Badria Galadari, an Emirati businesswoman and patron of Rashid Centre to celebrate her birthday to cut a decorative huge cake while the guests chorus the ‘happy birthday’ song and wish her.
Maryam Othman, Director General of the Rashid Centre commented on this “the prominent Emirati businesswoman, Badria Galadari, is not only widely known among the social scene of Dubai but also her contribution toward philanthropy especially for the Rashid Centre and its students with special needs are highly appreciating by everyone. The visit of IMG World theme park was one of our outdoor activities for the students and good opportunity to honour our patron to throw a surprise birthday party attended by a group of friends of Rashid Centre and others,” she said.
The IMG Worlds of Adventure is Dubai’s first mega theme park has recently opened for the public.
The Rashid Centre has been organizing outdoor tours for its students a part of their rehabilitation and training purpose to provide the students with special needs to integrate with mainstream society.
