Highlighting the dedication of Emiratis

IN celebration of the UAE’s National Flag Day on Nov.3, all leading government departments, private organisations, schools, colleges, entertainment facilities hoisted the UAE Flag in their respective premises.
Global Village’s management and employees raised the UAE flag at Global Village’s Kiosk Street, which has been completely redecorated with flags of the UAE, in commemoration of the event. Global Village, a home-grown entity, was proud to take part in the symbolic initiative, which showcases the unity of the UAE and the loyalty of all its people.
Commenting on the occasion, Ahmed Hussein binEissa, CEO of Global Village, said: “Today’s events portray the unity of the Emirati people and their sense of belonging to the UAE. This ceremony reflects our loyalty towards our country and its great leadership. Canadian University Dubai hoisted the UAE flag at its campus in a joyous ceremony to celebrate UAE Flag Day 2015, in the presence of Chancellor Buti Saeed Al Ghandi and President Dr Karim Chelli.
Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) has organised a ‘Flag Hosting and National Anthem Ceremony’ at its premises.
A number of schoolchildren, office-bearers of the association, representatives of government bodies and community members attended the ceremony which was a part of the five-day celebrations to mark UAE Flag Day.
UAE Exchange, the leading global remittance, foreign exchange and payment solutions brand, celebrated UAE Flag Day by hoisting the national flag at its Country Head Quarters in Dubai. Celebrations were held across its large network in the country with various initiatives for customers planned out in well-decorated outlets.
Dubai Media Office. In response to the call of Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to celebrate UAE Flag Day, Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), organised on Thursday ‘The Flags Garden’ in Jumeirah.
Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today celebrated the UAE Flag Day with a ceremony at its headquarters.
The bank staff together with special invitees from Dubai’s Family Gathering Centre raised the national Flag, joining the nationwide UAE Flag Day campaign which coincides with the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s assumption of office as the leader of the UAE.
Society of Engineers, UAE organised the Flag Day at their headquarters with the Emirates Medical Association in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for International Peace.
The flag of UAE was raised by Eng. Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, Vice President of the Society of Engineers-UAE with Eng. Rayed AlArashi, board member and president of the SOE Arbitration Centre and Eng. Nasser Abushahab, board member and president of the SOE Training Centre, and Eng. Tareq Bin Deemas, General Manager of the Society of Engineers UAE.
