2nd Labour Run

THE second edition of Labour Run, that includes both blue-collar and mainstream community members, and will see over 700 participants is all set to start on Oct.21. The event will take place at the labourers’ accommodation in Sonapur, Dubai.
The run, which in the two formats, 3K & 10K, is being organised by Team Sports UAE, a Dubai-based sports event management company. It is being supported by Pakistan Association Dubai (Pad) and Majid Al Futaim Charity Foundation in Sonapur to encourage the labourers’ community to be a part of the activity.

CDA introduces revamped website

THE Community Development Authority (CDA) Dubai during the first day of the Gitex Technology Week has officially launched its revamped website, providing developed and easy access to the services in a modern and engaging design besides a suite of smartphone applications.
To review the services and mobile solutions being providing by the CDA, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Dubai, also visited the CDA stand.
During their visit, they were briefed about the latest applications launched by the Authority to improve customer experience.
