Businessman celebrates birthday

MOHAN Valrani, a prominent Indian businessman, said that children with special needs at Rashid Centre for Disabled are a great source of happiness for him and his family. Supporting the centre is about sharing this happiness with these kids.
He stated this while talking to the media after attending a ceremony to celebrate his 76th birthday with Rashid Centre children. He has been celebrating his birthday with children at Rashid Centre for the last seven years, and every year the donation to the centre increases with his birthday. This year he donated Dhs76,000.
Valrani has been supporting a number of organisations as part of his contribution to share happiness with others.
“I’m not giving these centres money but they are indeed giving me happiness and help me to achieve more in life. I will continue my part to support the centre in various ways,” he said.
The Indian businessman Valrani, the founder of The Arcadia Preparatory School and Executive Vice Chairman of Al Shirawi Group, celebrated his birthday with the children of Rashid Centre for the Disabled which is witnessing an annual celebration on this occasion.
Accompanying Valrani in his visit to the centre were his wife and his sons. They were greeted by Maryam Othman, Director General of the Centre, along with a number of the centre’s students who performed a series of dances, art and paintings that were dominated by the Indian character, and presented him a gift which was a painting done by Rashid Centre students.
During his visit, Valrani took a tour of the centre’s departments and checked out all the new services provided by the centre, and the education systems…
