Student praised for wind turbine project

TALHA Ahmed, a Sharjah-based Pakistani student of University of Sharjah has been applauded by members of the Pakistani community for winning the first prize for the Micro Wind Turbine project during the Think Science competition, which was recently organised by the Emirates Foundation.
The project, which featured in the category of Energy and Environmental Sciences, was submitted by three university students including Ahmed, Kamel Ali and Muhammad Arif as their final year project at University of Sharjah. It was a novel initiative that was applauded by professors and students alike.
