Hotels show commitment through blood drive, ‘Clean up’ campaign

IN LINE with corporate social responsibility programme (CSR), Centro Sharjah has organised a blood donation drive at the hotel in collaboration with Sharjah Blood Transfusion & Research Centre to collect blood donations from staff and guests.rottana-1

ively taken part in the drive to donate blood by getting involved as #CentroGoesRed.
Michael Kasch, General Manager remarked, “We are committed to the betterment of the community, and with the support of our guests and colleagues we will be engaging in various CSR initiatives,” he further explained. “This campaign was designed to raise awareness on the need for blood in emergencies. Since the shelf life of blood is only 42 days, we highly encourage people to donate blood on a regular basis.” He concluded by adding, “We thank Sharjah Blood Transfusion & Research Centre for extending their support during the drive and we assure them of our future contribution through similar campaigns.”

Clean up drive
DUBAI: Villa Rotana’s Dubai staff joined forces with Dubai Municipality to take part in Clean Up the World Campaign, which took place along Jumeirah Beach, under trottana-2he theme of “Our Place…Our Planet…Our Responsibility” highlighting how every community should take action to improve the environment.
The staff members embarked on four hours of cleaning up and collected a total of 15 bags of mixed trash along the beach.
