Emirati athlete to commemorate National Day

AHMAD Al Mutaiwee, a physically challenged Emirati athletic hero, decided to cycle a distance of 44 kilometres on his bike to celebrate the country’s 44th National Day and support the Rashid Centre for the Disabled through this humanitarian initiative.
Al Mutaiwee visited Rashid Centre to share the details of his initiative with the management and students with disabilities on a recent visit. He was received by Maryam Othman, Director General of the Centre, who lauded his enthusiasm to cycle in support of Rashid Centre and a true celebration of the UAE’s 44th National Day.
The initiative “United Home” of his 44-kilometre journey will take place on Nov.23 from Al Qadra Village, where he resides, to Atlantis, The Palm, a total distance of 44km.
Al Mutaiwee expressed his delight to be part of the national and humanitarian sports initiative, and gave his heartfelt thanks to the students of the centre…
