Intellectual property body signs MoU to help students

THE Emirates Intellectual Property Association (EIPA) on the second day of the “5th Regional Conference on Combating Crimes Against Intellectual Property in the Mena Region” has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme to benefit the local students.
The conference was organised by the EIPA in collaboration with Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, Interpol, Underwriters Laboratories and the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies. The conference discusses and highlights trends on intellectual property in the country and region. It was held at Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa, Dubai and was attended by professionals and experts from the UAE and all over the world.
The conference was held under the patronage of Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Vice President of Police and Public Security in Dubai, and Honorary President of the Emirates Association of Intellectual Property.
