New generation of mini-drones catching attention

François-Xavier Charbonnel, Sales Manager Middle East, Africa & India of Parrot stated this while talking to The Gulf Today at the 35th Edition of the GITEX Technology Week being held at Dubai World Trade Centre. He is working to develop and extend the retail network in the regions and to develop the sales of Parrot aftermarket products, covering drones (Bebop drone, AR. Drone) and Minidrones, connected objects like Zik headphones or Flower Power smart sensor for the plants, and hands-free solutions for the car.Drone11
“The wide range of drones and headphone line being producing by Parrot has been seeing good response in the local market from individuals to professionals. We are pioneer in the drone industry and our latest range of drones equipped with ultra technologies are not only safe and secure but also user friendly and operate by anyone,” he said.
The company has recently launched five new drones separated into three clans – Jumping, Airborne and the Hydrofoil drones – they are ready to take up any challenge.
He also mentioned that the Parrot, expert and pioneer in consumer drones, unveils the latest version of Bebop Drone, a third-generation quadricopter designed for leisure. It is equipped with a Full HD 14 megapixel camera stabilised on a 3-axis framework, the Parrot Bebop Drone takes video and pictures of the world in a 180° field with remarkable image quality.
He pointed that the company has sold a huge number of mini drones as the GCC market is also expanding with every passing year. “In the last couple of years, the market for mini drones have been expanded many folds and we are optimistic with huge growth. The local government has also been adopting the drone technology in its different daily operations reflecting the importance of this technology,” he added.
The range of new mini drones are more fun and can light the night, roll faster or carry bricks as these are better autopilot, new and more powerful motors, better energy management, and increased flying time; 4GB memory and an audio mode for the rovers.
