Young female prodigy appointed Youth Ambassador for PYF

SITARA Brooj Akbar, the new face of Pakistani talent in the education sector who has set many world records, has taken an oath to be the new Youth Ambassador of the newly established Pakistan Youth Forum (PYF) for the community’s students.
“I’m glad to be part of the PYF and helping to create hope among Pakistani students in the UAE. Through a series of events, I will be part of workshops addressing students’ issues like improving public speaking skills, enhancing English language skills, and others,” said Akbar in an exclusive interview with The Gulf Today.
Sitara hails from a small village near Chiniot, Punjab province, and has recently moved along with her family to the UAE and is currently residing in Sharjah. After three years of schools, she decided to focus on her studies at home.
Without formal schooling, she was able to set a number of recorSitara Broojds in education, starting with passing her O-levels at the age of 9. The following year she passed her O-level in biology. She then completed her A-levels at the age of 13, all the while thanking Allah and her parents who supported at every stage.
“I have been studying at home for six hours daily to achieve the highest rank. The hard work resulted with me breaking a number of world records, earning the highest band score, 9, in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS),” she told.
