Supporters join PAT chief Qadri at Dubai airport

DUBAI: A group of supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has joined Tahir-ul Qadri at Dubai InternatioImagenal Airport for his return to Islamabad and lead a rally against the current government.
Haleem Adil Sheikh, President PML-Q in Sindh province was leading a group of his party workers who planned to join Qadri who flew from London vie Dubai airport.
Addressing a press conference, Adil Sheikh said that they have been waiting for the last one-year to see any positive change in the country but now it has been proved that the government is not ready to resolve the lingering issues.
Adil who was also part of a meeting held two weeks ago in London and attended by the political leaders of Pakistan’s different parties to topple Nawaz Sharif government. “We had no intention to start any activity before the Holy Month of Ramadan but the recent incident in Lahore, forced us start a movement to set up a new government with the aim of benefiting the people of Pakistan,” he said.
“Now the time has come to bring new government to have a clear strategy to resolve issues like electricity crisis, unemployment and law and order situation in different parts of the country,” Adil said.
He added that the police in Punjab have already started creating hindrances for the rallies heading towards Islamabad to welcome their leaders.
“We are sure that the government will create problems at the airport but we have our strategy to face any challenge,” he said.
