He said, “The business and occupancy rate of the resort, which was reopened in May, is picking up as the number of tourists from Europe, Russia and different GCC countries are increasing to enjoy the pristine warm beaches and hospitality experience offered by the hotels in the Northern Emirate.”
He said, “The last months were the best time of business as we had around 67 per cent room occupancy rate and the demand is still growing.”
“If the situation will be on this track, we will increase our room capacity to double in the next year,” he said.
The resort which has located on a prime location of Khorfakkan facing the sea has currently 177 rooms to cater the demand of any customers from corporate clients to families as well as individuals.
“As we are planning to increase our rooms, we are also working fast to open a couple of food and beverage outlets within the facility including restaurants and cafes base on different themes to attract the variety of customers pouring all over the world,” Phillips added while responded to a question.
