Boat show begins in Dubai

THE five-day Dubai International Boat Show has started at Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi on Tuesday.

The exhibition which has incorporated various activities including diving demonstrations, superyacht and jewellery display, boating conference, live jazz, product testing and demonstrations, fashion show of the latest dive equipment, free diving demonstration, dive class demo and many more.

The show is attracting a large number of visitors as well as people related to marine industry throughout the world and display their outstanding products under one roof.

Manufactures of luxury boats around the globe have been displaying the range of their boats having the features of different speed ranges, comfortable and entertainment areas besides accommodation, high-speed engines, computerised and integrated control rooms to enjoy the sea cruise with dignity.

Different countries like Oman, Malaysia and others had also established their stalls to promote tourism and marine life with providing all relevant help. As different adventure clubs had also put their stalls in the show to promote their services from diving deep sea to explore the marine life and enjoying the cruise in particularly designed boats and equipments.

Besides the displaying of luxury boats’ replicas, world’s renowned manufactures of marine and outdoor equipments, spearfishing equipments, wetsuits, spearguns, night vision and optical products and security systems besides all boating needs.

The service providers of transporting yachts and associated marine peripherals from one port to another had also displayed their stalls.

The Dubai Maritime City Authority has also set up their stall to promote safe power-boating and other facilities like different courses to the enthusiastic of marine life.

A number of exhibitors had vowed that this exhibition will be a breakthrough for the marine industry as interest of visitors especially water sports was remarkable on the first day.

The companies who are taking part in the 5-day boat show from UAE, Kuwait, USA, UK, France, Hong Kong, South Africa, Qatar, Italy, China, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Australia, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Finland, Holland, Taiwan, New Zealand, Japan and others.
